Baby Cassandra | One Sleepy Girl! {Brantford Baby Photography}

Baby Cassandra is one of many girls we have had in the studio lately!  2013 seems to be shaping up into the year of girl…which makes sense since last year seemed to be the year of the boy! I was so excited to have this sweet cutie pie in here.  I have had the chance to photograph her family’s photos before, starting with a family session, then her mom & dad’s wedding in 2011 and now BABY! I love getting to be able to capture the progession!

Cassandra came in sound asleep and stayed that way the entire session. She showed me her peepers once and didn’t even need a top up before starting or anything. She was ZONKED the whole time. It’s a first for us here….usually baby needs a meal or snack at some point.

I love capturing more natural poses as well as posed photos. The above photo was almost all baby. She just snuggled right in all comfy like that. A slight adjustment of her hand by her head and that was it. So cozy!

I love her little sweet squishy face. I could have just eaten her up during our session! Cassandra is such a doll – thanks to mom for bringing her in for a lovely session!

Mommy (or Grandma) & Me Sessions | {Cambridge Family Photography}

Early May can be such a beautiful time of year! The sun begins to shine, the snow is (usually) a distant memory, and spring is in the air! My favourite setting is around the trees during blossom season and an apple orchard plays the perfect location for this stunning backdrop. Presenting Mommy (and Grandma) & Me Sessions.

These sessions will take place at a lovely orchard located in St. George. Orchard Home Farm has been backdrop to some of my previous sessions, but in discussion with the owners, we all agree that early May is the most beautiful time of the year there!  I have been thinking about this for quite some time, and I’m happy to offer these sessions.

My goal is to capture those real smiles, hugs, tickels and squishes…in short, the true and genuine love between a mother & her child / children. Whether you have one, three or ten children, they are all precious in their own way and photos of you taken together are often few and far between. Update your photos of you and your little ones (even if they are bigger than you!) with this Limited Edition special.

Sessions include the on-location photo session, as well as a $100 print credit you can apply to a number of packages or products offered, in any way you like!
Packages will contain both digital files & prints, as well as stunning photo products such as canvas prints, story boards, accordion mini-books as well as albums.

Please inquire with any questions to Kelly via phone at 519-717-7002, or by email at kellytemplephotography@live.ca  You can also follow the “contact” link at the top of this page!

Baby Easton | One handsome little man! {Kitchener newborn photography}

I love sweet little babies! I adore getting to cuddle and snuggle little ones who come into the studio! We pump up the heat, turn on the white noise and snuggle until they sleep. This little guy is an “elder” in the world of newborns, at the ripe ‘ol age of 3 weeks. He did such an amazing job, and we got him to sleep deeply so we could capture some photos of him and him with mama & dad. Here are a few of my favourites from our time togehter:

I was out and about the morning before this session and stumbled across this neat bowl…it’s a little buried under some layers of blanket, but it’s a big hunk of tree and it’s super neat!! Loved that I got to use it right away!

I met this little guy’s mama a few years back when I was shopping for my wedding dress…she was the amazing sales lady who helped me pick out my perfect dress. We stayed in touch via Facebook since then and after she had Easton, I was thrilled to have them into the studio!!

As a photographer, I truly love having the opportunity to capture family photos. There is always so much love when a new baby is added to the family.

Baby Braeden | 15 days old! {Cambridge Newborn Photography}

Sigh. I love babies. Squishy little babies. They have soft little heads and skin that smells so new….they’re just so precious, it’s ridiculous. I already forget what having a brand new baby is like…and when I pick up Liam after a newborn session, I realize how giant he is now! This sweet little boy, Braeden, is going to be good friends with Liam when they get older. He’s our neighbour, and it’s pretty awesome that we both had boys within 6 months of each other! I can’t wait until they can hang out and play together! Here are a few of my favourites from our session together.

Sometimes I like to incorporate mom & dad in photos by just using their hands or arms. This way, if you don’t feel photo-ready, it is still a way to capture you and your baby a little artistically.

Love my new bowl from Traditions in Thyme Newborn Props…I have a few new ones I love to use!!
